Lebanon's Aerospace & Automotive Engineers

LAAS was founded in 2016 at AUB to revive Lebanon's proud aerospace tradition — inspired by the Lebanese Rocket Society of the 1960s, which launched the Arab world's first suborbital rockets. Today we build real machines, compete internationally, and develop the next generation of engineers.

Our Story
Aerospace
VTOL aircraft, liquid rocket engines, and unmanned aerial systems.
Automotive
Ultra-efficient supermileage vehicles and powertrain engineering.
Community
Workshops, seminars, and industry networking events at AUB.
Competitions
Real engineering challenges tested against teams worldwide.
